No Sleep

Greetings all! Sorry it’s been a while since my last update. Hopefully everyone had a lovely New Year and are (mostly) sticking to their resolutions! I still have a lot of irons in the fire over here, and hope to have some exciting updates for you all soon (including to the a new issue of FALLEN)

In the meantime, since the NOSLEEP subreddit has disbanded, I have decided to repost the two stories I submitted to that site here. I even added a new part to my first story which had remained unfinished for some reason.

The Roadkill on Rabbits Run Road

I have plenty of other spooky stories creeping around my brain, so lookout for more updates soon. I’m looking forward to getting back on track with FALLEN after a very long hiatus, as well as progressing with The Ghost Collectors, a new novel and start of a series involving ghost and strange creatures and even middle school!

In the meantime make sure to binge lots of horror movies both good and bad (<3 MST3k) and eat lots of candy.

Wedding, Honeymoon, and the Future

For those of you who haven’t seen pics on the instagram page, I got married this month! My lovely wife and I just return from our honeymoon trip to New England and Canada. Every second was wonderful and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.

And, now that big life event stuff is calming down, I can get back to working on projects...

WITHOUT A STAR is in the editing stage, and hopefully will be released this year or early next year.

After a long hiatus, FALLEN issue #3 is shaping up quite nicely. Look out for updates soon. I’m very excited to get back on track with this project.

I will begin posting some short stories and other blurbs. Day Three is already up!

And finally, I plan on diving into the next big project. A novel entitled THE GHOST COLLECTORS which I’m very excited about.

There’s a lot of good stuff ahead—I’ll be sure to keep you all updated!

Happy Spring!

Happy Ostara! Happy Spring to everyone! I know some of us thought it would never come. I for one am looking forward to getting outdoors more now that the weather is warming up. I love snow, but I’m excited to see things growing again (maybe I’ll go out looking for a tree monster too!)

There are a lot of exciting things in the works this year, and I look forward to sharing that all with you. For starters, I am finishing up the final draft of Without A Star. I started this many, many years ago as my own retelling of my favorite story, The Little Prince. It’s grown and changed a lot since then. There was a lot of abandoning it and starting again only to abandon it once more. But, with a lot of patience and determination, it’s finally near the finish line. Look out for more details soon.

I have a few other plans for the year, resurrecting projects on hiatus, as well as sharing things I’d completely forgotten about. Last year was a bit thin on content, so I hope to do better this year.

And if you hadn’t seen already, the newest chapter book is out! The Space Monster was published late February and is available for purchase. Be sure to check it out, and keep an eye out for future updates!

Denmark/Sweden

This month i had an amazing experience visiting Copenhagen and Stockholm. I love traveling, especially being able to absorb all the nuances of a new place. If you have the chance to go somewhere new, i recommend you do so. i’m definitely feeling inspired after seeing all these beautiful sights, so i’m excited to get back to work finishing up Without A Star among other things.
